WHY SHOULD I BOOK A MAKEUP LESSON? Do you find yourself with a bag of makeup goodies not really knowing what to do with them or how to use them to suit you? Do you find yourself wondering which colours would light up your face and make you look radiant and healthy? Have you ever been confused about the vast array of products available to choose from and not knowing where to begin? Do you feel like you’re stuck in a rut with the same makeup routine for years not knowing how to make yourself look younger, effortlessly stylish – as if you woke up looking like this? Do you use the same makeup style for daytime and evening and don’t know how to turn your daytime look into a more glamorous and sophisticated evening look? If the answer to any or all of these is “yes”, then a makeup lesson is what you need.
WHAT HAPPENS DURING A MAKEUP LESSON? Makeup lessons are entirely bespoke and taught on a one-on-one basis. The lessons take two hours and the content is completely customised to suit your makeup goals and experience. On arrival we’ll discuss which looks you wish to learn and what your biggest struggles are when it comes to makeup. We also look through your existing makeup kit and brushes (please have these handy, no matter how big or small!) to assess which products are suitable and what you might need to get. We then go step-by-step through the basics, addressing what suits your facial proportions and how to maximise your natural beauty. I will demonstrate one step at a time, explaining along the way, which brushes to use and you then repeat under guidance. I'll share lots of tips along the way that will help you create long-lasting and beauty-boosting looks.
WHO ARE THE LESSONS SUITABLE FOR? - Women of all ages and skin tones who wish to learn how to apply better makeup on themselves. - Business women who want to learn how to look polished for those important business meetings and on-stage presentations. - Online influencers who are often on camera so need to learn how to create impactful photogenic makeup looks. - Women heading to a destination event with no or limited access to book a professional makeup artist. - Anyone in need of an overhaul of their makeup kit and current techniques
WHAT IS THE COST OF A LESSON? Individual lessons with Lillian are $240 for a two-hour session. All sessions are tailored to your specific requirements and include photographs taken at the end so that you have a visual reminder of what you have learned.
HOW DO I PREPARE FOR MY LESSON? You will need your makeup goodies. I also suggest you give your brushes a clean and give them ample time to dry as we can not use wet or damp brushes. Have a clean face and wear a neutral coloured top. Perhaps consider something nice for the photos afterwards. If you prefer me to come to you we will need access to natural light. So a table facing a window would be ideal. I will bring a mirror and ringlight to help if we need extra light. (Travel charges may apply) I will supply a face chart for you to take notes and bring all my goodies of course.
