Cloe Orphan

Chloe Orphans is a non-profit orphanage located in Bali, Indonesia, dedicated to providing care, safety and education for children who have been orphaned, abandoned, or are living in vulnerable circumstances.

Founded in 2010 by Pastor Victor Hutapea and his wife Susiana, Chloe Orphans is also their home where they live alongside and care for the children as house parents, creating a true family environment rather than an institutional setting.

At Chloe Orphans, children are welcomed into a stable and loving home where they are given the chance to simply be children again. Many of the children who come into their care have experienced loss, instability or hardship and the orphanage exists to give them safety, structure and belonging.

The home currently cares for 26 children ranging from 3 months of age to 18, providing them with daily support, education and long-term guidance.

Education is a central focus of their work, with the belief that it can break cycles of poverty and open pathways to a more secure future therefore they supports children through schooling and scholarship opportunities so they can complete their education, gain skills and eventually become independent adults who are able to support themselves and their families.

Their long-term goal is not only care but transformation - helping children move from vulnerability into confidence, opportunity and stability.

A growing visio

One of the most urgent challenges Chloe Orphans is currently facing is the future of their home.

The orphanage is operating on a rented property in Bali and the lease is approaching its end in less than two years. This means that without a long-term solution, the children’s home and the stability it provides, is at risk of displacement.

The intention is simple but powerful - to move from temporary accommodation into a permanent home where children are no longer at risk of having to move and they can welcome more children in need.

Without secure land and a long-term home, the future of the orphanage remains uncertain. With it, Chloe Orphans can continue expanding their care and offering life-changing support to even more vulnerable children in Bali.

The 'Forever Home Project' is at the heart of my current focus. It is my vision to help them build and secure a permanent home where children are not only cared for, but given the opportunity to grow, feel safe and experience consistency in their daily lives. With their current lease coming to an end in the next two years, there is a real and urgent need to create something sustainable for the future. But beyond urgency, this is about hope - a home that not only meets immediate needs, but grows into something greater, creating space for more children to be welcomed and supported.

Through Beauty With Purpose, I contribute both financially and by giving my time and creative skills, helping to share their story and bring this vision to life in a meaningful and lasting way.
