By booking with Lillian Sutton Hair & Makeup Artist, you acknowledge and agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

All school formals, weddings, and weekend bookings require a non-refundable $150 deposit to secure your chosen date. Upon payment of the deposit, you acknowledge and agree to all Terms & Conditions listed here. Deposits are non-refundable as they cover administrative costs and the loss of availability for the secured date.

All travel, toll, and parking fees will be charged to the client where applicable. Travel is charged at $0.88 per kilometre (return trip) from my base location in Sunnybank, QLD. If an additional artist is required, the same travel fee applies from their base location.

Extra artists booked require an additional non-refundable $150 deposit per artist, payable upon initial booking or upon any change to booking requirements. This deposit secures the artist’s availability for your date. If an additional artist has been arranged and the booking is later changed by the client resulting in that artist no longer being required, the deposit remains non-refundable to cover administrative costs and potential loss of income for the artist.

Any bookings requiring a start time prior to 6:00am, including early departure times to travel to location, will incur an additional $50 per hour, per artist. If times are changed from the initial quotation, I reserve the right to apply additional charges, calculated in 15-minute increments.

Sundays and Public Holidays incur a 15% surcharge.

Any additional or unexpected services not included in the original quotation - including but not limited to wet hair preparation, extension preparation, parking fees, or additional persons requiring services - will be charged on the day and are payable via direct bank transfer or cash only.

There is a minimum call-out fee of $380 for all weddings and $220 for all other bookings.

No refunds are provided for change of mind. All outstanding monies owed for weddings must be paid in full no later than 6 weeks prior to the wedding date. All wedding bookings made within 6 weeks of the event date must be paid in full at the time of booking.

Last-minute changes or cancellations for wedding bookings within 6 weeks of the booking date will still require full payment. Services may be increased subject to availability but cannot be reduced within this period, as the time has been reserved and other bookings may have been declined. This policy reflects the loss incurred due to short-notice changes or cancellations.

Payments for general bookings may be made via direct bank transfer or cash on the day. Payments for weddings must be made in full no later than 6 weeks prior to the booked date via direct bank transfer or cash at the time of the trial.

Credit card payments are available by prior arrangement only and will incur a processing fee.

In the unlikely event that I am unable to attend due to illness or injury, all monies paid will be refunded in full, and every effort will be made to arrange a suitable replacement artist where possible.
Force Majeure / Natural Disasters

In the event that a booking is impacted by circumstances beyond my control, including but not limited to natural disasters, severe weather events, government restrictions, road closures, power outages, or other emergencies, I reserve the right to cancel or reschedule the booking in the interest of safety. Where possible, bookings will be rescheduled to a mutually agreed date. If rescheduling is not possible, any payments made will be refunded in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

Where a booking is postponed due to a force majeure event, deposits may be transferred to a new date subject to availability.

All prices and Terms & Conditions are non-negotiable and are subject to Australian Consumer Law.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude, restrict, or modify any rights available under the Australian Consumer Law.
